Gail Carter is a qualified ILM Business and Management Coach and Mentor and Business Adviser and Consultant who has ran her own business for over 9 years and also been employed as a Social Enterprise Business Adviser by Business Link Yorkshire.  Gail supports her clients to maximise potential in their businesses, and with people working in businesses, from a realistic, practical, totally unbiased third person perspective. She does this by drawing on her accumulated, experiential knowledge, skills and expertise - with additional support and input, as and when required, from trusted resources.  Gail has a personal interest and specialism in working to support Social Enterprise pre-start, start up and existing businesses.

Identified opportunity to initiate and pursue discussions which ultimately led to securing major contract to manage Bollywood event in Yorkshire 2007
  • Created FMS (File Management System) and implemented training and development/coaching on usage
  • Created management and administration systems/procedures and provided strategic development support to ensure sustainability and growth. Key purpose - to maximise visibility of Charity
  • Company Secretary - Facilitation/Management Support to Board/Advisory Group/Audit and Finance subgroup
  • Adviser/Executive PA to MD - Developed and coordinated key projects including business growth strategy and expansion of current processes/procedures
  • Venturefest York-First Project manager–from conception to completion of initial event in 2004 (Key points - £0-£160k budget–initial event attracted 1100 delegates)
  • Interim role as Head of Business Support for 4 months in major volunteer travel company including Executive PA to CEO and MD
  • Interim Hotel Manager- Provided Business Development support to specific requirements including HR/recruitment/coaching - processes and procedures/FMS - coaching/customer service training
